Why the name?

We all have our favourite places where we like to go and recharge our batteries. 

Ours is the North Cornish coast and particularly where the River Camel meets the Atlantic Ocean near to Padstow.

The Doom Bar is the infamous sand bar at the mouth of the Camel Estuary. It's a beautiful spot.

There is also, coincidently, a fine ale named after it as well.
